The Personal Wellness team consists of dietitians Therese O’Sullivan, Cristal Camfield, Emma Speak,  Smita Nambiar and Katherine Donaldson. Our dietitians are members of the Dietitians Association of Australia and are committed to keeping up-to-date and providing quality services.

Dr Therese O’Sullivan, APD

B. Hlth Sci (Nutrition and Dietetics)/B.App Sci (Human Movement Studies) Hons, PhD. Owner/Manager.

Therese has recently completed a PhD in the area of carbohydrates, glycemic index and insulin resistance. She has presented at national and international nutrition conferences and has a special interest in diabetes.

Cristal Camfield, APD

B. Hlth Sci (Nutrition and Dietetics) Hons, QUT.

Cristal specialises in obesity management and has previously worked as a consultant dietitian at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.

 

Emma Speak, APD

B. Hlth Sci (Nutrition and Dietetics) Hons, QUT.

Emma has a special interest in aged care and functional foods. She enjoys working with people, cooking and eating out.

  

Smita Nambiar, APD

B. App Sci (Food Science and Nutrition) Hons, UQ, Masters (Nutrition and Dietetics) GU.

Smita has an interest in chronic disease and children's nutrition, and is involved in PhD study in the area of childhood obesity at the University of Queensland. She enjoys experimenting with cooking to make healthy food taste great.

Katherine Donaldson, APD

B. App Sci (Food Science and Nutrition) Hons, UQ, Masters (Nutrition and Dietetics) GU.

Katherine has had previous dietetic experience in nutrition research and community health. She also works as a dietitian for Blue Care and has gained important skills in nutrition for aged care facilities.
